Privacy Policy

Location

When you request weather for your current location, Rude Weather asks iOS for location access. Your coordinates are used to request a local forecast from Apple WeatherKit and to determine a readable place name using Apple system services.

Location permission is optional. You may decline it and search for a city instead. Intelligent Edge Solutions LLC does not operate an app backend, receive your coordinates, build location histories, or store your location.

City searches

City names you enter are processed by Apple's geocoding services so the app can retrieve the requested forecast. Intelligent Edge Solutions LLC does not store your searches.

Shared content

When you share a forecast, Rude Weather creates a forecast image and text on your device. Content leaves the app only after you choose a destination through Apple's system share sheet. The selected destination's privacy policy applies after sharing.

Data practices

• No user accounts
• No advertising
• No analytics SDKs
• No cross-app or cross-site tracking
• No sale of personal information
• No storage of personal information on company servers

Apple services

Rude Weather uses Apple Core Location, geocoding, WeatherKit, and system sharing features. Apple processes information under its own privacy policy.

Children

Rude Weather contains frequent insult-based humor and mild profanity. It is not directed to young children. Apple determines and displays the applicable age rating in each App Store region.

Changes and contact
